Arevon Energy organized a groundbreaking event for its 430 MWDC Kelso 1 & 2 Solar projects in Scott County, Missouri. Arevon will possess and exploit the long -term projects, whereby the first phase is expected to achieve commercial activities by the end of 2025 and the second phase is estimated to start activities in the first quarter of 2026.
Kelso Solar is the first utility programs on Nuts scale renewable energy project in Missouri. The development and construction of the project of more than $ 500 million have resulted in a significant increase in economic activity in Scott County and the surrounding areas. During peak construction, Kelso Solar will employ more than 450 employees, mainly from local work to build the project. Both phases are built by Primoris Services Corporation.
The groundbreaking on the project site brought government officials, leaders of Scott County, local landowners, project partners and the Auevon team to celebrate the construction production and progress of domestic energy in Missouri.
Arevon is actively involved in the Scott County community in the development of Kelso Solar and contributes to a number of charity initiatives, including the following:
