“Open Road Renewables and the Harvey Solar Team are proud to bring this state-of-the-art project to Licking County, together with the huge, local financial and community benefits that it will yield,” said Samantha Sawmiller, director of Development for Open Road Renewables. “With the statement of the Supreme Court, we will continue to build. Not only will the local community benefit from the project, but it will generate clean, affordable, own energy to help meet the growing demand from OHIO to power.”
Harvey Solar has entered into extra financial obligations to the Hartford Fire Department, the Hartford Independent Fair, Licking County Park District and other community benefits that will be realized when the project starts with construction. In addition, Harvey Solar works together with the local joint vocational school, C-TEC, for the development of staff to help future generations of licking county students to pursue a career in the competent transactions.
