Another Nexamp Community Solar Project.

Nexamp announced that it will develop a portfolio of around 100 new projects in the US as part of a long -term agreement with Microsoft. Spanbrancy throughout the country, these solar farms will add approximately 300 MWAC From distributed clean energy capacity for local schedules – enough to provide almost 100,000 houses a year.

According to the agreement, Nexamp will develop, build and operate projects in five independent system administrator regions, including New England, New York, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Western States. Microsoft will buy renewable energy certificates (RECs) from the Solar Port Folio to help connect its dedication to become carbon negative by 2030.

The projects, planned in the next four years, will be built in communities that have not yet experienced the economic and ecological benefits of solar energy. Each project will have at least one community advantage, such as:

  • Energy bill savings for many households with low and moderate incomes
  • Employee development and training for career in renewable energy
  • Local investments by Maintain our future basis

“This collaboration with Microsoft speeds up our mission to make solar energy accessible to everyone – regardless of income or homeowner – while local jobs and economic opportunities are also created,” said Zaid Ashai, CEO of Nexamp. “The support of Microsoft enables us to scale up solar energy in many communities throughout the country, so that thousands of new households are connected to the Clean Energy Revolution and at the same time promote American energy dependence.”
