Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) run by the government sends the range of technical and advisory support services for its subsidy programs aimed at organizations in Ireland that intends Decarbonize. The tender follows a report from the SEAI that demonstrated that Ireland has a limited market for industrial heat pumps and called for larger outreach and support for companies to install the technology.

The SEAI is looking for applicants from a tender who searches for service providers to help deliver some of his subsidy programs for companies.

According to the tender, the “suitable qualified service providers” will collect to set up a Multi-Party Framework agreement or “Lot”. Each party covers a separate need based on the SEAI’s Grant Programs Exed and the support schedule for Renewable Heat (SSRH).

Exist is a subsidy scheme for organizations that are planning to invest in a renewable energy project. It includes both new design projects and large renovations to existing assets. SSRH offers financial support to companies that switch to renewable heat sources, including installation fairs for commercial heat pumps.

Two of the tender parties are for energy -efficient design trainers and mentors and technical project assessors. The third plot includes operational, technical and advisory services for the SSRH. Finally, the fourth party is for development, technical and advisory services for SSRH and exed.

The contract duration will be four years and the estimated value is € 2,750,000 ($ 3.1 million). Tenderers must submit tenders for all four parties. They have Central European Time, Western Summer Time to submit until midnight, May 21, in the middle of the European Time.

The SEAI focuses on Dcarbonizing to reach the net goals of Ireland. In March it brought one report That said that fulfilling the energy transition of Ireland could lead to a maximum of € 19 billion in capital expenses by 2030.

The report described heat pumps as “an important technology” for improving energy efficiency and sustainability in smart buildings and houses. However, it acknowledged that despite support schedules such as the SSRH, the market size for industrial heat pumps in Ireland is currently limited. SEAIs 2030 figures Project Industrial Heat Pumps’ Market size in Ireland will be € 25 million, while the potential Irish share will be € 13 million. Sustainable biomass heating and district heating are larger markets, € 2 billion and € 221 million respectively.

The authors of the report are hopeful that Irish companies can offer the expertise required for installing heat pumps.

“Continuous improvements in heat pump technology and the increasing demand for solutions for low temperature heating will contribute to the expected growth of the industrial heat pump market in Ireland. Furthermore, the financial incentives of SSRH, targeted support and alignment with climate goals are expected to stimulate the growth of the industrial heat pump pump.

SEAI CEO William Walsh said that companies throughout the country “can pick the economic benefits of a fossil fuel -free economy and society” and added that the SEAI was “committed to supporting companies in the Irish Energieoevoer chain” for decaring.
