Totomengies, RGE to develop Zonne-Plus storage in Indonesia-PV Magazine International

Totomengies and RGE have signed a co-investment agreement to develop and exploit a project for Zonne-Plus-Plus storage in Indonesia. The factory on the utility scale is built and managed by Singa Renewables, their equally owned by Joint Venture.

French energy company Tottyergies and the industrial group RGE established in Singapore have signed a co-investment agreement to develop, build and exploit a tanning factory with battery energy storage in the province of Riau, Indonesia.

Totomengies and RGE signed the agreement through their joint venture Singa renewable energy sources, which they also have. According to a joint explanation, the project scale project will be built in phases. Additional project data, including the total capacity, were not disclosed.

The companies said that the Green Industrial Complexes project in the province of Riau will feed and offer the export of solar energy to Singapore.

“Our co-investment agreement reflects our strong coordination with the national transformation strategy of Indonesia support for the self-supply of green energy and the bio-based source industry through services with a high added value,” said RGE director Imelda Tanoto.

The cumulative solar capacity of Indonesia surpass 700 MW In August 2024, according to figures from the Jakarta -based think tank institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR).
