Sydney-featured S-Rack Australia works together with commercial Clean Energy Solutions Company Energy Agning to retrieve a DHL-Logistieke Hub in Sydney, New South Wales, afterwards with a carport on the roof of solar roof.

Located on top of a parking garage on several floors in Matraville, uses the 42-car SpaceSvaart Carport 267 solar modules to generate 130 kW (DC) capacity to deliver the activities of DHL in the Eastern Sydney facility.

Important challenges included contacts with the original engineer of the building to ensure that the carport design did not undermine the structural integrity of the parking garage.

Approvals from the council were streamlined with the help of careful drawings.

As the increased parking area was used during construction, traffic management was essential to guarantee minimal disruption of the general public.

The 130 kW system consisted of 500 W Trina solar panels and the system uses Sungrow 110 kW and Sungrow 30 kW inverters (SG11CX and SG30CX), with the carport that is now set to generate 200,000 kWh of renewable energy in 2025.
