The supplier of the Chinese PV production equipment is spreading to Malaysia with the aim of ‘improving the flexibility and efficiency of the supply chain’.

Jinchen -Technology Announced plans on 30 May to expand his overseas presence by setting up a complete subsidiary in Malaysia through his unity established in Singapore. The project will include an investment of USD 6.5 million (CNY 47.2 million), financed by internally or self -trained capital. The move is intended to stimulate Jinchen’s share in the global PV equipment market and to improve “flexibility and efficiency of the supply chain.”

China National Nuclear Corp. (CNNC) released the results of its centralized purchasing of solar module for 2025-2026. The total tender volume reached 26,667 GW. JA SOLAR is in first place, followed by Longi and Chint New Energy. Other nominated suppliers were Yingli, Trina Solar, Tongwei and Jinko. The announcement has not announced specific price volumes per company.

Canadian solar energy said in an update of the investors of 5 June that it is expected that shipments of Q2 module will reach between 7.5 GW and 8.0 GW, and shipments from the entire year from 25 GW to 30 GW. For energy storage systems, the release of Q2 is predicted at 2.4-2.6 GWH, with annual volumes between 7.0-9.0 GWh. The company mentioned continuous tariff uncertainty as a factor in adjusting the expectations of the storage shipment, with some projects possibly postponed until 2026. From March 31, the e-storage of the Canadian Solar’s Energy Storage e-storage held a 91GWH project Pipeline with contracted orders on USDMIJNEN.
