Chinese PV industry Letter: Snapshots from SNEC 2025

Last week manufacturers of solar energy signed an estimated 15 GW of sales and delivery agreements and delivery agreements on SNEC 2025 PV EXPO in Shanghai. Large contracts include the 1.75 GW order of Jinkosolar for the SPPC project of Saudi -Arabia and the 2 GW agreement of Ja Solar to support the production of solar energy in India.

PV manufacturers such as Jinkosolar, Arctech Solar, Ja Solar, Huasun, Seraphim, Aiko Solar and Hanersun jointly signed more than 10 GW PV module -sales and supply deals on SNEC 2025 PV Expo, held on 11 to 13 June in the National Exhibition and Congress Center In Schahan. The similarities underline a strong global demand for highly efficient solar technologies, whereby sources in the industry estimate at least 15 GW of module sale and supply contracts that were signed during the three-day event.

Jinkosolar announced an important sales agreement of modules with Powerchina and agreed to deliver 1.75 GW N-Tunneloxide Passivated Contact (Topcon) modules for the fifth phase of the SPPC sun project from Saudi Arabia. It also signed strategic cooperation agreements with Diwan International, Mesol Solar and Salim Winding to promote the localization and deployment of the latest generation Tiger Neo 3.0 modules in Pakistan and adjacent markets.

Arctech Solar A delivery contract signed with Powerchina’s Guizhou Engineering Co. -Unit for the Saudi SPPC Round 5 project. The 1.75 GW order comprises 1.25 GW for the MAS project and 500 MW for the AHK2 project, both of which will implement the Skyline II Tracker systems from Arctech Solar.

JA SOLAR A memorandum of agreement (MOU) signed with the talent of India to deliver 2 GW of solar cells, aimed at supporting the domestic production capacity of India. It also signed a 230 MW module delivery Mou with remes for clean energy projects in Honduras.

HuasunA leader in heterojunction (HJT) technology announced a strategic partnership with the Sentnet Group in Italy. According to the conditions of the agreement, Huasun will provide advanced HJT modules and marketing services for the Sentnet project pipeline in Italy and the Mediterranean region, with a special focus on agrivoltaic applications that have been designed to improve the land value.

Serafim Secure more than 1.8 GW module orders at SNEC. This included a 1 GW agreement with Inner Mongolia Xingkai Electromechanical for a PV project for desert control, a 500 MW deal with Suzhou Zhongguan Meidi and a 300 MW delivery contract with Pakistan’s Suncore Solar for the Scales Scales Utility.

Aiko Solar reported a strong turnover for his ABC N-type modules, with more than 600 MW of sales contracts that were only signed on the first day of SNEC. By the second day, the company had concluded around 1.6 GW of sales agreements, which cover both distributed and utility scale projects.

Hansun A new 400 MW Module-Supplement Agreement signed with long-term Brazilian partner Solfácil and a separate 60 MW deal with the solar character of Uzbekistan.
