The manufacturer of the Japanese heating system Daikin has unveiled a new series for home pump that makes it possible Homeowners to independently heat and cool a room.

Dubbeds Oterra 115V, the new system with one zone has Daikin Inverter Technology and the new Signa Flareless adapter of the company for “easier” installation and copper pipe connections.

“The inverter compressor is the heart of a Daikin system and maximizes energy saving and offers absolute comfort, while only the energy needed to heat or cool a space,” the manufacturer said in a statement.

The systems use Difluoromethane (R32) as a coolant and have a heating capacity of 9,000 BTU/H to 12,000 BTU/H. Their heating range is -15 ° C to 18 ° C, while the cooling range is between 10 ° C and 46 C.

The heat pumps also have a cooling Seasonal energy -efficiency (SEER2) of up to 20 and a heating season performance factor (HSPF2) of a maximum of 9. Sound levels are assessed on 25 dB (A) for the interior units and 46 dB (A) for the outside units.

The new products rely on a single-lock 15 a breaker and are supplied with a limited warranty of 12 years of parts.
