The VK and Ireland were the two countries that signed the highest number of renewable EnergiePower -purchase agreements (PPAs) in May, according to the Swiss consultancy firm Pexapark.

Four PPAs were signed in the UK, with a total volume of 113 MW, followed by Ireland with two (49.3 MW). France was the only other European country that signed more than one PPA, with two to 26.9 MW.

In general, Europe has only signed 280 MW of PPAs for renewable energy in May, which, according to 2020, represent the lowest capacity of PPAs signed in Europe since 2020, according to the monthly report from Pexapark ‘PPA Times’. This is also a decrease of almost 80% compared to the capacity of capacity last month, and a decrease of 45% in the number of signed deals.

Company PPAs contributed the most in May, with 184 MW, compared to only 48 MW of PPAs with utilities. The largest deal signed in May was for a solar PPA between the National Transport Company Network Rail and French Nuts-Edf-Renomable energy sources in the UK. The purchase agreement was for a period of 14 years for a period of 14 years for a period of 14 years, of which Pexapark estimates that they are 65 MW.

Another remarkable Solar PPA that was signed in the UK last month came from Pub Chain Marston, who will use Zonne -Zonne energy in 120 of his pubs under a PPA model that is financed by investment company Atrato Onsite Energy.

Despite the decrease in the signed PPAs, both in volume and in the number, the composite price of PPAs of PPAs from PPAs rose somewhat by 1.2% compared to the previous month, with an average of € 49.3/MWH (US $ 56.5/MWh).
