The battery storage market in Germany stands for numerous challenges that require legal clarification. Until the rules are clear, investors with considerable uncertainty must live, as discussed on the Battery Business Development Forum (BBDF) in Frankfurt.

Organized by PV -MagazineConexio PSE and Solarpower Europe, the event brought together more than 450 battery industry representatives on July 16. In two in -depth sessions, expert speakers explored the market situation in Germany.

A day before, the ruling of the German Federal Court of Justice on Construction costs (BKZ) was published. These costs increase the costs of battery projects, which sometimes adds a significant financial impact, depending on the region. Most participants in Frankfurt calmly took the decision after they were incorporated into project planning in these payments. Grid operators at the event expressed lighting because their related income is now safe.
