The American battery manufacturer Lyten has collected more than $ 200 million in stock financing to support its expansion to European Bess. The company acquires the former energy storage product line of North Volt, including the Voltpack Mobile System (VMS), Voltrack and other assets, while increasing production in Poland and broadens its commercial outlook.

The announcement follows Lyten’s previously reported acquisition of Northvoltt DWA, one 6 GWH Bess facility in Gdansk. That factory is expected to restart the activities in the second half of 2025, with initial deliveries planned for the fourth quarter.
