PV -hardware has developed a Solar Trackers system that can adjust system research with a maximum of 2 ° post-by-post. By achieving a larger slope variation between posts, PVH trackers can be installed on more complex or irregular sites, where extensive assessment was previously required. The ability to follow natural topography while maintaining structural reliability and energy yield becomes a key factor in the technical and financial viability of many solar developments.

“This milestone strengthens our dedication to push the boundaries of engineering for solar scale on Utility scale,” said Eduardo Chillaron, worldwide technical manager of PVH. “By increasing the slope tolerance, we offer our customers greater design flexibility and the opportunity to build locations that are previously considered too challenging or expensive.”

Being able to accommodate a maximum of 2 ° post-to-post variation, the groundwork can reduce to 90%during the preparation of locations, according to PVH, the preservation of natural topography and minimizing soil disruption. This is particularly relevant in Agrivoltaic projects, whereby maintaining the integrity of the country is essential for future agricultural use and recovery of biodiversity. The design also reduces the stack length and the ramming depths, with piles of up to 0.7 m less length.

This function is now fully integrated into the newest generation of PVH follow -up systems and is already being implemented in several global projects in development.
