Trinity Energy has completed a Solar + storage system in the Costco Wholesale warehouse in Norwalk, Connecticut. The size of the solar system was not revealed, but the Microgrid installation can deliver 2 MWh power per day, says the company.
“Energy should be treated as a necessary, finite source in contrast to cost or balance costs,” said Shay Reed, assistant general Merchandising Manager at Costco Wholesale. “Our work with Trinity shows how energy can become really active that protects our activities, is in accordance with our sustainability goals and reduces the risk. This partnership helps us to lead the way to greater energy dependence.”
“This is not just about offering clean energy, it is about redefining energy as a strategic active,” said Darin Leonard, president of Trinity Energy. “We enable our partners to generate and manage their own energy with speed, autonomy and ethical integrity.”
