The 1P single-axis tacker is designed to withstand winds up to 150 mph.
FTC Solar has released a single-axis 1P Solar Tracker for project sites that are subject to high wind conditions.
The Pioneer+ High Wind Trackers are designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 150 mph. The product is intended to enable a reliable use of solar projects in coastal, hurricane-sensitive and high-high areas, FTC Solar said.
The trackers are equipped with wind direction-agent storage positions, of which FTC Solar said that the requirements for foundation depths lower, which supports energy production, even during wind stop events.
The Pioneer+ High Wind Tracker supports the configuration of the String size module for wind categories 105 MPH up to 150 MPH. FTC Solar said that the 1P tracker has a wide compatibility between module form factors. Presassembled-module-agency rails attach to the structure with a single bolt on the coupling tube, the company told that the hardware is being reduced and simplifies logistics on the spot.
The trackers contain reinforced coupling pipes, drive stations and demeras blages for extra structural stiffness. The company said it designed the torsive frequency of the structure in accordance with third -party stability criteria. The product includes open buses, two -part couplings and self -lighting parts, which, according to FTC Solar, prevents tight inserts, reduces shortcuts and makes a safer, more intuitive installation possible with fewer errors.
Insurers, permit authorities and financiers are increasingly insisting on categories with a higher risk for solar projects. More than 100 projects in the southeastern US have already been reduced from RC-I to RC-II-the elevation of wind design thresholds from 113 MPH to 130 MPH or more, the company said.
The company said that the wind-resilient trackers supplement other new innovations that made it in hail restriction, terrain adjustment and resilience of cold weather.
FTC Solar was founded in 2017 and has its headquarters in Austin, Texas. In Mei’s Q2 Income reportFTC Solar announced ‘upcoming availability of 100% domestic content’.
