Infolink Consulting says that global module readings have risen by 10% to 247.9 GW in the first half of 2025, with Jinkosolar closing closer to Longi and Tunneloxide passivated contact (Topcon) technology for more than 94% of the total.

The Taiwan -based research agency Infolink Consulting said that the world’s 10 largest suppliers of solar module shipped around 247.9 GW in the first half of 2025, an increase of 10% compared to a year earlier. Jinkosolar eliminated Longi Green Energy for first place, while Trina Solar and Ja Solar Technology shared third. The top four was almost 60% of the shipments and underlined the rising concentration.

Tongwei, Astronergy, Das Solar and Canadian Solar followed in positions five to seven, with GCL system integration and Yingli Green Energy ranking ninth and tenth. Most suppliers grew shipments, in which Tongwei and Das Solar rise by 30% to 40%. DMEGC sold almost 60% abroad, while Aiko Solar stood out as the only supplier who only sends contact modules with back contact only.

China accounted for 58% of shipments, while overseas markets were 42%. In addition to Asia-Pacific and Europe, the Middle East and Africa added growth. Topcon technology led with more than 94% of the Shipping of the Top Ten, while Passivated Emitter and back contact (PERC) fell on the back. The absence of specialists with return contact and heterojunction meant that the list reflected the technological choices for leader instead of global shares.

Infolink said that the financial force is just as important as a scale in a profit -restricted cycle. Leading suppliers are vertically integrated and ensure capacity but adds fixed costs. Strong balances make investments possible during decline, while competition is shifting from volume extension to product differentiation and customer loyalty.

In solar cells, the top five suppliers sent around 87.8 GW, an increase of 12.5%. Tongwei remained first, supported by electricity integration and international channels. Solarspace is in second place, with Chinese perc output and a Laos -based. Yingfa Ruineng rose to the third with N-type shipments among the leaders and export of cells with back contact starting in the second quarter. JTPV was fourth and built his topcon position and growing sales in the middle -east and Africa. Aiko Solar is in fifth place, but most of the recovery production was consumed internally, leaving Perc as the most important external product.

The prices shifted sharply. In anticipation of the Installation Deadline of China 31 May, Topcon cell prices short above CNY 0.30 ($ 0.042)/W before he dropped to CNY 0.23 to CNY 0.24, near cash costs. InfoLink said that oversupply restricted recovery, the power -reducing demand is weakened and suppliers are able to balance the scale with profitability and transfer from price to value -driven competition can gain an advantage in the next cycle.
