The new market for energy storage from China reached a milestone in the first half of 2025, according to a new report from CNESA, earlier this week released at the Western Energy Storage Forum in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia.
CNESA said that the total energy storage fleet of China was at 164.3 GW Eind-June, an increase of 59% year after year, while cumulative storage of new energy-pre-bodied Lithium-ion battery storage systems for Batterijen-Vooren first surpassed 100 GW compared to 101.3 GW reached last year)
