French Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) Manufacturer Objectif Drone has developed a drone-based solar panel spray cleaning system for maintenance teams for the solar factory. It can be used on PV on the roof or on the ground mounted systems.

French Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) Manufacturer Objectif Drone has developed a drone-based solar panel spray cleaning system for professional maintenance teams for the solar factory.

Suitable for PV systems on the roof and on the ground, the Chronos model can reach heights of 50 meters. The company says that this model is known for its reliability and maneuverability. It is said that it can cover up to 500 m² per hour.

It is designed to be used by Solar Plant Operations and Maintenance (R&M) teams or professional cleaners.

The low-pressure spraying fixed pole can be implemented horizontally or vertically and the hose is 50 m. It has a double no-noise-adjustable boom. A high -pressure spray kit (110 bar) is also available with a hose of 25 meters.

The battery has a duration of 40 minutes between loads at low pressure and 30 minutes in high -pressure mode.

The Chronos multi -motor UAS for cleaning solar panels is tied to a pump system on the ground. It is an Aviation Safety Association Aviation Safety Association (EASA) of the European Union. As required by regulations, it is equipped with an external electronic signal beacon and direct remote identification.

It is equipped with light detection and varying (Lidar), together with High-Definition cameras. An accessory kit and double real-time Kinematic (RTK) satellite positioning technology contribute to an accurate external effect.

The unit measures 62 cm x 62 cm x 42 cm and weighs only 2.4 kg, according to the manufacturer. The housing is IPX4.

Chronos can be used throughout Europe, where C5/C6 needs. It has a two -year guarantee and a two -year support after the sale.

The company sells through distributors in Belgium and Spain, and it is looking for reliable partners in other countries with commercial possibilities, the possibility to carry out repairs and the expertise to provide user training, a spokesperson said PV -Magazine.

“In countries where we do not yet have partners, we can sell immediately and handle after-sales service remotely,” said the spokesperson.

The innovation of the company is supported by another French company, Elie Technology, and they have plans to be launched soon from new solutions for cleaning solar panels.

Objectif Drone, founded in 2012, offers pilot training services, a series of pest control and cleaning drones for urban and rural use, as well as more powerful drones that spray up to 100 meters and high-pressure to 200 bar.
