Catalyze has completed Four community projects for the community in Central and Western New York, developed in collaboration with CS Energy.

Phelps

The four projects – located in Pavilion, Phelps, Fonda and Fabius – a total of 27 MW. The installations were supported by New York State programs, including the Inclusive Community -Sonne -Adder and the Community AdderThey help to ensure reliable energy access to subscribers with low to moderate income (LMI) and disadvantaged communities.

Construction access and Laydown areas were carefully managed, so that agricultural land could return to its existing condition, allowing landowners outside the solar arrays to remain agriculture.

“We are proud to be part of the extraordinary progress that New York State has made in accelerating the transition to renewable energy. Our work with CS Energy shows what is possible when states, developers and communities coordinate each other,” said Andrew d’Amico, Chief Operating Officer With catalyzing. “This milestone is about more than megawatts, it is about taking action. We see companies moving rapidly to exclude the benefits in the long term and cost benefits of solar energy, while federal tax credits are still present, with states offering states that are designed to expand access.”

Michael Garofalo, vice -president of operations at CS Energy, added: “Community Solar has become one of the most effective tools for supplying clean, reliable and affordable power. We are grateful that we have collaborated in building these installations that will continue to offer considerable energy for companies and households in New York.”
