Intersolar & Energy Storage Noord -Arikika (Iesna) announced the 2026 Solar Games In San Diego, California, will contain two important changes:

  • Point -based system: instead of a single elimination, teams are now fighting every round for points. The teams with the highest totals move forward and ensure that the top performers are in the final.
  • Updated suitability: teams that participated two years in a row now only have to wait a year before they are applied again.

These changes offer competitors more opportunities to present their skills and strategy-while creating an energetic experience for spectators.

The rewards remain the same: first place wins a $ 10,000 cash prize; Second place wins $ 3,500; Third place wins $ 2,500. Participating teams can receive up to $ 2,500 to support travel costs.

The deadline of the application has also been expanded until 3 October. Click here Apply.
