Orka Energía has unveiled an artificial intelligence platform that collects and updates data on more than 4,000 renewable energy projects developed in Spain, including capacity, status, substations and developers.
Orka Energía has created an artificial intelligence platform that optimizes different phases in the development of projects for renewable energy. It is the first platform that compiles all renewable projects in Spain, including their processing status, technology, the substation with which they are connected, the developer, installed capacity, favorable or unfavorable resolution, the name of the park and the access and connection point.
A spokesperson for the company told PV -Magazine That the database is updated daily with relevant information about all renewable parks in the pipeline in official gazettes. It also offers an interactive map with all Spain substations, both transmission and distribution, as well as demand data.
“We realized that public information about generation factories in Spain was not easily accessible,” said the spokesperson. “That is why our dashboard offers an extensive picture of the renewable energy sector, with important statistics to identify market trends and opportunities. It is ideal for companies that have to stay up to date with the regulation situation and the progress of projects in the pipeline.”
Currently, the available bulletins are specifically for Spain, and the platform includes more than 4,000 solar, wind, battery energy storage system, thermal solar and hydro-electric plants, as well as hybrid projects. It currently has three modules: a main dashboard to view macro data for Spain per technology, province and pipeline; a searchable, filterable table with projects; And a list of all substations in Spain – distribution and transmission – which shows generation capacity, storage, question and the development projects that will be connected.
There is no minimal size or capacity threshold for projects that can be included on the map, according to Orka Energía.
“We follow all renewable projects in development. From the moment they are released for public information until they receive definitive approval,” said the spokesperson, adding that the company encourages customers to share interest data, such as or use PV projects fixed or tracker technology. “We are working on a new module that can extract this data and all other data that can be interesting.”
The service works on a monthly or annual subscription basis and can be canceled at any time.
“Our service is mainly focused on developers, investors, consultants, suppliers of equipment and, in general, every player in the renewable energy sector that should optimize the development and processing of their projects,” said the spokesperson.
