The Italian manufacturer said that the new monobloc -propan heat pump can produce hot water at temperatures up to 70 ° C, with a performance bumps up to 5.31.
The Italian heat pump producer Clivet has introduced a new residential heat pump system designed for the production of hot water production.
The Aqua F series is available in three versions, with storage capacities of 100 L, 190 L and 300 L. A maximum of eight units can be casadated to meet even the highest demand for hot water, the company said in a statement.
The system uses propane (R290) as the coolant and contains an electronic anode and photovoltaic contacts.
“Thanks to the electronic anode and an automatic outage detection system, it is not necessary to remove the water periodically in the heat pump to check the condition of the anode,” the company explained. “Maintenance is therefore limited to filter inspections, making fast, economic and non-invasive interventions possible.”
The smallest unit offers 1.95 kW of electricity with a performance coefficient (COP) of a maximum of 5.31, while the largest up to 2.4 kW offers with an agent of a maximum of 5.17. Ruis levels vary from 55 dB (A) to 56 dB (A).
The heat pump can supply hot water at temperatures up to 70 ° C and works within an ambient temperature range from -20 ° C to 46 C.
According to Clivet, the system records renewable energy from the air and converts it into heat to increase the water temperature in the storage tank, with minimal electricity consumption.
“The Aqua F is four times more efficient than a traditional electric boiler, resulting in a reduction in electricity costs by 75% for the same amount of thermal energy,” the company said.
Clivet is a majority in the hands of the Chinese Midea and has its head office in Feltre, in the Italian northern province of Belluno. It also produces boilers, cooling machines and Air handling units.
