A documentary about the benefits of co-habiting solar and agricultural land can now be viewed for free YouTube.
The movie, Red the farm, save the futureis a documentary of an hour of independent filmmaker Chad Weber And Free Range Movies Agrivoltaics and the future of agriculture in Colorado and beyond is investigating this.
Save the Farm, Save the Future follows Colorado -Boers and Farmers while they explore Agrivoltaics and consider whether farms can survive while helping society to meet the needs of renewable energy.
“Agriculture in Colorado is only becoming more difficult, thanks to climate change, water scarcity and economic pressure,” Weber said. “Agrivoltaics is an aid that farmers hope to build resilience, diversify income and keep agricultural land in production.”
The film contains Byron Kominek of Jack’s Solar Garden in Longmont – one of the leading Agrivoltaics, demonstration sites of the country – and emphasizes how combining solar energy with agricultural water can generate new income flows, to expand land access to Extreme. Kominek was chosen as one of Zonless world Featured rising stars last year.
The film also profiles farmers in Colorado, from Persikwower Charlie Talbott on the western slope to large -scale crop producer Roy Pflatzgaff on the eastern plains.
