InfoLink’s latest rankings, drawn from the energy storage supply chain database, show that global ESS deliveries reached 286.35 GWh in the first and third quarters of 2025, with volumes exceeding 100 GWh in a single quarter for the first time in the third quarter. Market concentration remained high, with the top ten suppliers (CR10) accounting for roughly 60% of shipments, indicating that a clear leading cohort has emerged, even if no company has achieved a dominant position.
In all shipments of the ESS system, the top five suppliers were Tesla, Sungrow, BYD, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute and Huawei. InfoLink characterizes the competition among the top three as “fierce,” noting that while they maintain a clear lead in market share, their internal rankings have been reordered and will likely continue to shift until 2026.
