FIMER will provide AMP with battery systems for the rollout of the battery box

According to the announcement, the agreement between FIMER and AMP is intended to support the rollout of AMP’s Battery Box energy storage solution.

The AMP product is connected to the local electricity network and manages the timing differences between electricity consumption and intermittent energy generation.

From July 2026, FIMER will supply AMP with 400 units of PVX-215 at appropriate locations, with an expected completion date by the end of the year. FIMER notes in its announcement that its PVX-107/215-HV technology is a modular energy storage system with capacities ranging from 107 to 215 kWh.

Because the ESS is suitable for C&I projects and can withstand the conditions required for outdoor installation, this will likely be kept in mind when considering suitable AMP locations.

In terms of locations, AMP will continue to lead the development, installation and deployment of its battery boxes. It also remains the primary point of contact for landowners and companies wishing to host a Battery Box.

In the statement, AMP CEO Mark Tarry said: “Working with FIMER gives us access to a scalable, modular technology that supports our rollout plans and our focus on increasing network flexibility and strengthening network resilience.”

“AMP will lead the development and installation of these projects, and we look forward to working with landowners and organizations interested in hosting a Battery Box on their property.”

The agreement demonstrates another step on FIMER’s path to European expansion, having previously acquired MA Solar UK in January 2025. The partnership between FIMER and AMP is the first between the two companies and, as FIMER stated in its announcement, was established with the aim of supporting the flexibility of the electricity grid and strengthening the resilience of the local grid.

Antonio Verdi, co-CEO of FIMER, concluded: “This agreement marks an important step in strengthening our collaboration and reflects our shared commitment to promoting a pragmatic energy transition, powered by efficient and easily deployed solutions.”
