Germany, Austria and Italy have agreed to jointly develop the SouthH2 Corridor. “The SouthH2 Corridor will play in play an important role, especially when it comes to supplying green hydrogen to our southern states.” said German Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Robert Habeck. He explained that the corridor will transport hydrogen from North Africa to hydrogen demand hubs in Italy, Austria and Germany. The SouthH2 Corridor has already done that chosen as a project of common interest (PCI).

Ceres has been working with Shell since 2022, leading to the implementation of a 1 MW SOEC system at Shell’s R&D facility in Bangalore, India. The new contract focuses on the development of a pressure module design that can be scaled to hundreds of megawatts and integrated with industrial installations to produce sustainable fuels. said Ceres.
