Nautilus Solar Energy has announced that it has expanded its strategic partnership with EnergyMark, a Williamsville, New York-based energy supplier and solar subscription manager. After a year of successful collaboration, the two companies have expanded their deal from approximately 17 MW to 24 MW, from seven projects to ten projects in National Grid’s utility footprint. The partnership will be celebrated on September 4, 2024 at the newly powered community solar farms in Grand Island, New York. The continued partnership aims to bridge the gap for local small to medium commercial businesses that have historically been left out of the community. solar revolution.

A major issue many businesses face is the inaccessibility of solar credits, leading to missed opportunities for guaranteed energy cost savings. Traditionally, these companies have been sidelined by creditworthiness requirements and long-term commitments, leaving the benefits of community solar out of reach for many. The expanded partnership with Nautilus and EnergyMark provides additional access to energy savings for these small to large unrated businesses in Western and Central New York.

“Our mutually beneficial and successful partnership with EnergyMark has enabled us to provide access to solar energy to unrated businesses through a trusted local energy supplier. As a result, we have been able to execute agreements with companies quickly and on better terms, thanks to the solid, friendly relationships we have built,” said Daniel Bozer, solar community business development manager for Nautilus. “Additionally, working with my fellow Buffalonians has been a rewarding journey, working with local National Grid companies to strengthen both New York’s electric grid and economies.”
