Solis announced the launch of two new string inverters for the US and Canadian markets: the 60 kW, 208 V models and the 125 kW, 480 V models.

The new 60 kW and 125 kW string inverters complement Solis’ existing range, which runs from 25 kW to 125 kW. This comprehensive portfolio is designed to meet diverse energy needs and includes several key features:

  • Fuse-free design: Both inverters feature a fuse-free architecture, reducing points of failure and increasing system reliability and longevity.
  • Low start-up voltage: The inverters offer one of the lowest start-up voltages in the industry, maximizing energy production.
  • Wide operating voltage windows: These inverters support a wide range of operating voltages, meeting various repowering requirements and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Flexibility and capacity: the 125 kW inverter is the largest 1,000 Vdirect current string inverter now available on the market and offering maximum flexibility for commercial installations with up to 10 MPPTs.

Both new models come with flexible options such as wire and shade covers, built-in Module-Level Power Electronics (MLPE) and Rapid Shutdown (RSD) transmitters. These options enable tailor-made solutions to meet the specific requirements of each new or enhancing project.

“The introduction of our new 60 kW and 125 kW string inverters marks an important milestone for Solis,” said James Qiao, Managing Director at Solis. “Now that we have the largest commercial portfolio of rooftop string inverters on the market, we can continue our commitment to our customers and deliver cutting-edge technology that improves efficiency, reliability and flexibility.”
