We get used to record years for energy storage and 2024 was no exception. Manufacturer Tesla has used 31.4 GWH, an increase of 213% compared to 2023, and market information provider Bloomberg New Energy Finance increased his prediction twice, ending the year with the predicting of almost 2.4 TWH of the storage of battery energy by 2030 That is probably an underestimation.

Positive feedback klussen and exponential growth are notoriously difficult to predict. People are not well set up to process exponents. In 2019, Pumped Hydro Storage (PHS) supplied 90% of the global energy storage power of energy storage (measured in Gigawatt), but batteries will catch on in 2025 and the associated energy storage capacity, in Gigawatt-hour, by 2030.
