Gridbeyond and ABB announce a strategic partnership to deliver ABB’s newly launched battery energy storage systems-as-a-service offering.

This partnership, which follows ABB’s strategic investments in Gridbeyond in 2024, brings ABB’s deep domain expertise together with the intelligent energy management solutions from Gridbeyond to deliver a powerful, fully managed energy storage service to C&I customers worldwide.

The AI-driven Platform of Gridbeyond will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance of ABB’s BESS-A-A-Service assets, making real-time energy optimization, demand-side response participation and access to new income flows on worldwide energy markets is possible. The service is designed to help companies reduce energy costs, reduce carbon emissions and improve the resilience without the need for investments in the preceding capital.

In addition, the Gridbeyond platform will provide accurate predictions of the energy price to optimize energy storage activities that enable informed decision -making, which makes strategic charging and discharging possible that is in accordance with the market dynamics and the lifetime of batteries extends.
