Affordable Wire Management (AWM), a supplier of cable management solutions for solar and battery storage systems on Utility scale, debuts various new Bonsai module cable hangers for developed for Array Technologies‘Solar trackers. These custom Bonsai hangers route sign cables under the coupling tube to reduce shade and lead around bearings, while the risk of damage caused by environmental factors and system maintenance is minimized. Just as with the other AWM product lines, Bonsai is manufactured with corrosion-resistant metal alloys and has a 40-plus year of operational lifespan.

“We have found many synergies between Array technologies and AWM-Zowel in terms of our focus on excellence and innovation mindset,” said Scott Rand, CEO and co-founder at AWM. “Both teams are committed to a cycle of continuous improvement that is crucial to help our industry move forward. AWM is proud to offer string management solutions for every new iteration of the Array tracking system on a global scale.”

Bonsai hangers are being developed to be installed without tools and they can be assembled with one hand. To date, AWM’s Bonsaihanger has been adapted for more than 30 unique use cases.

“At Array we are committed to complying with the developing needs of our customers by investing in innovative technologies that improve the performance and reliability of the system,” said Aaron Gabelnick, Chief Strategy and Technology Officer at Array. “AWM’s Bonsai Pendant is a great example of a solution that seamlessly integrates with our trackers, which offers a sustainable and efficient option for solar -string management.”
