Arevon completes 400 MWH battery project on the coast of San Diego

Arevon -Energy Has started with commercial activities at the Peregrine Energy Storage project in San Diego, California. The 200 MW/400 MWh battery storage project is located in the Barrio Logan community.

The $ 300 million Peregrine Energy Storage Project has been developed and is owned and is managed by Arevon. Peregrine energy storage used more than 90 full-time equivalent staff at the height of construction and the benefits for real estate tax in the long term will expand an estimated more than $ 28 million during the life of the project. The facility has lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) batteries.

“The successful completion of the storage of Peregrine Energy is the result of the collaboration efforts of the stakeholders of the project and the local community that jointly support the goals of the renewable energy -provider of California,” said Kevin Smith, Chief Executive Officer at Arevon. “Peregrine means the continuous dedication of Auevon of energy storage and its importance to guarantee a reliable, stable energy system, as well as setting up in the state in the state and throughout the country.”
