Avaada Electro, the low -production of Avaada Group, started building a 5 GW integrated solar cell and module production facility at Ecotech in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid the first stone in front of the factory.

The Chief Minister has also inaugurated the 1.5 GW Solar Module Manufacturing Plant of Avaada in Dadri in Noida. Avaada said that the first phase of the factory became operational in just 3.5 months, with all production lines for utility companies and module being fully used.

The 1.5 GW facility produces N-type -con bifacial glass-to-glass PV modules with multi-busbar configurations from 16 to 24 bus bars to maximize efficiency. Designed to produce both M10 and G12 cells, the plant has an annual capacity of 1.2 GW for M10 modules and 1.5 GW for G12 modules. It currently produces 5,800 modules per day.

Avaada said that the next 5 GW Integrated Factory will cover more than 50 hectares on Ecotech-16 and industrial scale, very efficient N-Type Topcon sun cells. The company expects the project to create more than 3,000 jobs.

“This initiative not only reinforces the contribution of our state to renewable energy, but also stimulates employment and supports our vision of an economy of $ 1 trillion,” said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. “Avaada’s dedication to sustainability and innovation is in line with our goal to make Uttar Pradesh an industrial powerhouse.”
