Axis Solar completes 114-kW rooftop project for Texas surveyor supplier

Axis Solar, a commercial solar contractor serving the Austin, Texas area, completed installation of a 114-kW rooftop solar array for AllTerra Central, a surveying equipment supplier. For AllTerra, solar energy was the answer to escalating utility bills and the need for a sustainable energy strategy.

“Switching to solar felt like the right move — not just for our bottom line but also to reduce our environmental footprint,” said Bobby Hempfling, president of AllTerra. “The savings we’ve already seen are transformative, and it’s rewarding to know we’re taking meaningful steps toward energy independence.”

Over just three months of operation, AllTerra reduced its energy costs by $8,600 compared to the same period last year. The AllTerra project is yet another example of how local companies can leverage solar energy to achieve their financial and sustainability goals while contributing to a cleaner, greener operations.

“Our focus has always been on creating value for businesses by providing tailored solar solutions that deliver both immediate and long-term returns,” said Graeme Walker, CEO of Axis Solar. “Projects like AllTerra’s show how solar energy can transform energy use for Austin businesses while supporting broader sustainability efforts.”
