The company established in the US says that its new Aerotherm G2 uses both electric and heat pump -based heating. It varies from 189 l to 303 l in capacity.
Pennsylvania Heating products Bradford White Water Proyers has announced a new hybrid electric pumpcailer series for residential use.
The Aerotherm G2 series consists of three models with a capacity of 189 l, 246l and 303 L. respectively.
“The Aerotherm G2 enables consumers to switch between five different operational modes, including only heat pump, only electric, hybrid standard, hybrid plus and a holiday mode,” the company said in a statement.
The hybrid standard mode, the company says, combines the efficiency of the heat pump with standard electrical recovery speeds, while Hybrid Plus maximizes the recovery with both heat pump and a lower heating element at the same time. Holiday mode adjusts the temperature for a longer period to 10 ° C.
The lowest capacity model has a uniform energy factor (UEF) of 3.89, while the model with the highest capacity has a UEF of 4 and the 246-liter model has a UEF of 4.2. Their estimated shipping weights are 99 kg, 134 kg and 127 kg respectively. The models are supplied with a limited six or ten years for the tank and other components.
“Built-in Bradford White Wave connectivity means that the boiler can be controlled via a smartphone app,” the company added. “Extra functions include a small installation footprint, so that installers can make the Aerotherm G2 work with zero freedom in the corners or along walls.”
According to Louise Prader, senior director of product management for Bradford White, the company estimates that homeowners between $ 300 and $ 600 a year can save using the Aerotherm G2, depending on the model. “It is ideal for homeowners who want to better control their utility costs,” she added.
