Bulgaria launches Consult on 1.9 GWH Energy Storage Subsidy – PV Magazine International

The Bulgarian Ministry of Energy has opened a public consultation for a new round aimed at 1.9 GWH of independent storage capacity, building on the success of the initial recovery purchase, which supported almost 10 GWh in the development of energy storage.

The Ministry of Energy Van Bulgaria has launched a public consultation on a new subsidy program that wants to support the construction and commissioning of independent storage facilities for renewable energy with a cumulative capacity of 1.9 GWH.

The purchasing builds on the first round of the National Infrastructure for the storage of electricity from the Renewable Sources (Restore) program, which was closed in April.

That round selected 82 Including storage projects for renewable energyWith a total investment of more than 1.15 billion Levs ($ 675 million), under the initiative financed by EU. The chosen projects provide a combined usable energy storage capacity of 9,712.89 m
