Chemitek Solar has announced a new range of cleaning solutions that are specially designed for Agrivoltaic systems. These systems form unique challenges such as organic pollution, agricultural residues, limited accessibility and the presence of crops, which can limit the use of cleaning products, which requires carefully tailor -made solutions to prevent interference with agricultural activities.

Chemitek has two new solutions for this market:

Agropv Wash Protect (AWP) -A biodegradable cleaning and protective solution that is designed to remove organic pollution and agricultural residues while an anti-static coating is applied that is being restored.

AGROPV Water -Supporting Middel (AWS) – Specifically formulated to treat hard and very hard water in agricultural environments, prevent mineral deposits and to guarantee optimum panel performance.

These solutions are tested independently and ensure:

  • Compatibility with seed germination and plant growth
  • Ecotoxicity assessment
  • Biodegradability
  • Certified as safe for PV modules and crops by independent laboratories

Designed for versatility, AgropV -Was protection and AgropV -Water softenant can be used with the help of traditional methods (manual brushes, robot -like cleaning agents) and are effective over a wide range of agricultural photovoltaic installations.

“AgropV systems are a fast-growing segment worldwide. Our mission is to offer innovative and sustainable solutions that are tailored to their unique challenges,” said César Martins, CEO of Chemitek.

The official launch of these AgropV solutions is planned for Intersolar Europe 2026, where they will be presented to the international market. Distribution will be guaranteed through the worldwide partner network of Chemitek.
