Chinese PV industry Letter: CGN New Energy Awards 10.5 GW of panel agreements

China General Nuclear (CGN) New Energy has awarded contracts for 10.5 GW of solar modules in the context of the 2025 purchasing framework. The winning companies, including Jinkosolar, Longi and GCL SI, deliver bifacial and monofacial panels with high capacity N-type.

CGN New Energy has granted contracts for 10.5 GW of solar modules under the purchasing framework of 2025. The contracts are split into two packages over seven bidding segments of 1.5 GW each. The winning business-Jinkosolar, Grand Sunergy Tech, Longi, Gokin Solar, Huansheng Solar, GCL SI and Meike Solar-Zullen N-type Bifacial panels of 615 W and higher, with backup options of monofacial or bifacial panels of 710 W and above. Bidding prices varied from CNY 0.692 ($ 0.095)/W to CNY 0.706/W. The contracts run from January 1 to December 31, 2025, with an option for the expansion of mutual agreement.

TsofarA solar converter and energy storage company established in Shenzhen has requested a registration on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s Growth Enterprise market and comes closer to a public list. After several delays and changes, the company is now planning to spend up to 93 million A stores to increase CNY 12.11 billion, with CNY 1 billion reserved for energy storage and the rest for R&D, production and marketing expansion.

The China Non -Ferrous Metal Industry Association (Cnmia) said that the production of polysilicon remains when using low capacity between manufacturers, with prices that stabilize compared to last week. Transaction prices for N-type Refeed Polysilicon vary from CNY 39,000 to 46,000 per tonne (MT), average CNY 41,700/MT, while N-type grainy silicon trade between CNY 38,000 and 41,000/MT, average CNY 39,000/MT. P prices of the P-Type Polysilicon vary from CNY 32,000 to 36,000/MT, with an average of CNY 34,000/MT.

Trendforce The prices of M10 Silicon Wafer hold at CNY 1.10 each, while G12 waffles remained on CNY 1.65. N-type 182 mm waffles are priced on CNY 1.18. N-type 210 mm waffles sell for CNY 1.55, while the price of N-type 210R waffles fell by 3.03% to CNY 1.28 each. In the solar cell segment, M10 cells jumped more than 20% to CNY 0.33/W this week, while M10 and G12 -Tunneloxide -Passivated Contact (Topcon) cells held on CNY 0.29/W and G12R Topcon cells on CNY 0.27/w.
