Segula Technologies has launched its Remora Stack product, a containerized isothermal air compression storage solution that, according to the company, is 70% efficient.

French Multinational Segula Technologies has unveiled the Remora Stack, a sustainable solution for renewable energy for industry, eco-districts, shopping centers, power plants and public infrastructure.

The Remora Stack is a standard installed system of 12 m container that the manufacturer says it has a process efficiency of 70%.

“The entire system has a useful lifespan of at least 30 years, does not generate polluting emissions and used, in contrast to batteries, robust and durable materials,” said the engineering firm, that the product adds, no lithium or rare earth elements.

The new product uses a patented isothermal air compression method developed by Segula and builds on the remora technology of the engineer, which is designed to store renewable energy.
