Enphase Energy, Octopus Energy announces a smart rate for British customers – PV Magazine International

In an update of the strategic partnership of the two companies, Octopus customers with Enphase Solar and Battery Systems can now benefit from a smart import and export rate that is designed to save money on electricity accounts.

US Microinverter Specialist Enphase Energy has announced that his Enphase energy system technology is integrated into Octopus -EnergyThe smart rates in the UK.

Last April the two companies announced one strategic partnership To implement the IQ8 -Micro -rom shifts of Enphase and IQ Battery 5P on the British market.

In an update of the partnership, Octopus customers with Enphase, Zonne and Battery systems can now benefit from Intelligence Octopus Flux (IO Flux), a smart import and export rate designed to offer customers the best rates for consuming and selling electricity through Charging and discharging solar and battery systems.

Nick Chaset, executive vice -president at Octopus Energy, says that the rate helps customers to get the most out of their solar panels.

Octopus customers with Enphagebatters can also automatically charge when prices are the lowest and export surplus energy during peak times, maximizing savings and supporting grid balance. Octopus statistics are 40% of their IO Flux customers make a profit on their energy bills.

“We are delighted to work with Octopus on a global scale to offer meaningful victories for homeowners, Octopus and all Ratepayers, who ultimately a cleaner, more cost -effective energy cover,” Marco Kapels added, vice -president of Enphase Energy from Worldwide Business Development.
