The American EOS Energy Enterprises and British developer Frontier Power have signed a memorandum of agreement (MOU) for a 5GWH framework agreement for EOS ‘Zynth Battery Technology.

The Agreement deals with the projects of Frontier Power, which intends to submit itself to the first application window of the new Les-Cap and floor schedule of OFGEM’s New Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDEs).

It is EOS ‘first trip outside the US, but the zinc hybrid cathode battery said that the collaboration could also stretch to international markets. The agreement will contribute to EOS’s pipeline numbers from March 31, 2025.

Frontier Power has also recently announced a deal with another non-lithium battery company, Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) Firm Invinity Energy Systems, to That bids in for projects in the LDES schedule also with Invinity’s Tech.

The developer has now signed a joint development agreement with Ethos Green Energy for exclusive access to multiple schedule connection points that can support up to 20GWH from LDES projects with the help of multiple technological solutions, Invinity said recently.

Frontier has reserved a maximum of 2GWH of the production of invinity, but the EOS announcement is further evidence that several different technologies oversee.

Last month, EOS said that the turnover of 2025 will be about ten times higher than that of last yearWhen the US saw $ 15.6 million.
