Fluence Energy Production has started in a new production facility in Goodyear, Arizona, which produces appendices made with US Steel and Battery Management System (BMS) hardware for the energy storage systems on the grid scale.

The company increases the use of domestic production facilities in Arizona, Texas, Tennessee and Utah that deliver cells, modules, housings, thermal management systems and battery management systems, in addition to the domestic supplier of Fluence, which produces in South Carolina. These production partnerships represent around $ 700 million in investments and more than 1,200 production paths, together with 450 building tracks, in the calendar year 2025 alone, whereby that number is expected to grow rapidly.

“By rapidly expanding our access to American production, we help our customers to navigate complex global supply chain risks and at the same time strengthen our dedication to deliver safe, reliable and cyber secure energy storage systems on a scale,” said John Zahurancik, president of Flusence Americas. “The production of housing and BMS in the Goodyear facility is another strong step forward in this obligation.”

“Our goal is to be able to serve the production of us, as quickly as possible, to be able to serve the entire American demand in full with products and components made in the United States,” said Fluence Chief Product and Supply Chain Officer Peter Williams. “This facility brings us closer to that goal, namely to enable our customers to take advantage of safe, reliable and produced solutions for energy storage.”
