Developer of energy storage Green flexibility supplies a 40 MW/80 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Germany to the Pilot project “Feed-in Socket” Is launched by grid operators Lew Vertilnetz and Bayern work.

The companies are developing a more cost -efficient and grid -neutral approach for integrating clean energy in their networks, using expected schedule capacity planning and targeted allocations for renewable energy sources and energy storage places. #

Rasterneutrality means that battery storage systems do not require grid capacity during periods in which there is a high feed-in, via the socket, of solar and wind energy. This should ensure that transformer and power network are “permanently used optimally”, and means that the connected generation and storage places should not be reduced in capacity in line with the profile of the demand for peak rast.
