India installs 18.5 GW of Utility scale Zonne-Zon in 2024

India added 18.5 GW to Utility-Scale Solar and 4.59 GW to PV on the roof in 2024. Where the market led the market with a share of 14.1% of the shipments of solar module.

India installed 18.5 GW on Utility scale Solar energy and 4.59 GW on Solar on the roof in 2024, according to JMK Research & Analytics’ annual India Solar Report Card for calendar year 2024.

Rajasthan led annual solar installations with 7.5 GW, followed by Gujarat at 5.1 GW and Tamil Nadu at 1.4 GW.

JMK Research said that in 2025 India will add a 22.8 GW Nutschart Zonnezon and 5.8 GW Zonne-Energy/Onsite Zonne-Zonne-Zonne-Sonne-Zonne-Zonne-Zonne-Zonne/Onsite.

From December 31, 2024, India had 79.2 GW of the assignment on a use scale on a solar capacity on utility scale, with 71.8 GW more in the pipeline after completed auctions.

Where Energies led module readings in India in 2024, with a market share of 14.1%, followed by Jinko (10.5%) and Longi (10.3%). Chinese and international PV modules shipments fell through the Approved list of models and manufacturers (Almm) Order, which came into force on April 1, 2024.

The policy limited by the government supported projects to modules and manufacturers on the Almm list approved by the government to protect the domestic industry and to guarantee quality.

Adani led PV module export, followed by Waarde and First Solar. First Solar exported 67% of its total India production in 2024.

Sungrow at the top of the inverter supplies in India with a market share of 32.5%, while Sineng contributed 14.6%and TBEA and Fimer each had 13.6%.

Adani, Renew and O2 Power led in the development of solar project on Utility scale among PPAs for discoms. Adani developed 23.1% of the 10.9 GW of Discom PPA projects on behalf of 2024.

Amplus, Brookfield and Tata Power led the development of open-access solar capacity in 2024.

Jakson Green, Tata Power and Sterling & Wilson were the best EPC contractors of third parties for solar projects on Nuts scale.

In solar projects on the roof, Tata Power Solar, Mahindra Solarisize and Amplus LED development.
