On 4 June, InensEnergy, the 250-MW Hardin III Solar Energy Center recently started activities. The Energy Center is the third by the Inventer Facility completed in Hardin County, Ohio.
WEC Energy Group is the majority owner of Hardin III and Microsoft will buy the electricity and renewable energy credits (RECs) that is generated in the facility via a PPA.
“Hardin III Solar is the highlight of a decade -long collaboration with Hardin County and the local community,” said Michael Kaplan, Senior VP of Development at Inenserty. “We are proud that we have collaborated with dedicated partners to make meaningful local investments and to support here in the home of home soil in Ohio.”
The Hardin III -Zonne facility is expected to generate $ 180 million new investments in Hardin County and help with financing public schools, emergency services and local infrastructure. During the construction, Hardin III Solar created more than 350 jobs. According to a long -term activity agreement, Invergy Services offers activities, maintenance and factory services for the facility and will employ four permanent activities and maintenance staff.
Hardin III is driven by American solar panels produced by Illuminate USA, an advanced solar panel production company majority of Inenserty.
