Scanifly, a PV design and field operations software, is integrative design of IronRidgean old supplier of solar racks and installation.

Scanifly and IronRidge

The integration automatically transfers Scanfly design data and panel placement directly to IronRidge’s Design Assistant. The direct API (application programming interface) integration connects Scanifly’s design environment with IronRidge’s racking, bill of materials (BOM) and technical document capabilities. Solar contractors can now select mounting equipment and generate bill of materials with just a few mouse clicks without having to recreate array layouts.

Scanifly’s drone-based technology produces scaled 3D models with measurements flowing directly into the IronRidge Design Assistant.

“In 2026, when solar companies need to be more time and cost efficient than ever, eliminating wasteful steps is critical,” said Jason Steinberg, CEO of Scanifly. “Scanifly’s focus is on reducing time spent on the solar workflow without sacrificing system accuracy, assembly or maximizing production. Our integration with IronRidge delivers just that: directly connecting accurate DroneDesign layouts to their scaffolding calculations, allowing contractors to work faster without sacrificing quality.”

This connection combines Scanifly’s photorealistic designs with IronRidge’s range of mounting projects, ensuring a fit based on actual roof conditions for the XR or Aire rack systems and attachments such as FlashFoot2 or HUG.

“This integration accelerates the path from design to installation by eliminating redundant design work and ensuring accurate rack specifications,” said Tony Lenh, digital product lead at IronRidge. “By eliminating the need to manually transfer data between platforms, contractors can work faster and with more confidence that the racking system fits what is needed on the roof.”
