The Italian government has awarded € 2.35 billion ($ 2.74 billion) to subsidies to 22,942 solar projects on the roof of a total of 1.72 GW, so that the budget is completely allocated under its Agrisolar program for farms.

Italian energy agency Store dei Servizi Energetici (GSE) has the list From projects selected by the Agrisolar tender in the hands of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereiny and Forestry (Masaf).

A total of 22,942 projects with a combined capacity of 1.72 GW have received financing, while 2,013 projects of a total of 170.5 MW were excluded.

The financing granted is € 2.35 billion, so the budget for this tender round is exhausted.

The program differs from the Agrivoltaic tenders of Italy, because it supports conventional PV systems on the roof for farms instead of agrivoltaic facilities for double use.

In the most recent Agrivoltaic tender, completed in December 2024, the authorities awarded 1.5 GW after receiving 643 bids of a total of 1.7 GW. Most projects were in southern Italy, with extra prizes in Lazio and Emilia-Romagna in central and northern regions.
