Jinkosolar complains what energy for alleged topcon -trick fracture

Jinkosolar has brought a lawsuit in Texas against where Energies and his American subsidiary for the alleged infringement of one of his N-Tunneloxide-Passivated Contact (Topcon) Ooctroys, which marks a different movement in his aggressive patent defense strategy.

Jinkosolar, through his subsidiaries Shanghai Jinko Green Energy Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., has the Indian Zonne company where Energies and its American subsidiary, where Solar Americas, charged in the American district court for the south of the South district of Texas, claiming infringement of his N -Type Topcon -Patent, US11.824,136B2.

Where Energies, founded in 1989, is the flagship company of De Waaree Group, the largest solar PV module manufacturer in India. It has four PV production facilities in Gujarat, India, with a combined capacity of 12 GW from June 2024. In December 2024, Solar Americas started producing solar modules in the new 1.6 GW factory in Brookshire, Texas.

The disputed patent, granted to Jinkosolar in the US in 2023, includes “solar cells, production methods and photovoltaic modules.” Jinkosolar has also searched for patent protection on important global markets, including China, Japan, Australia and the European Union.

Jinkosolar has recently filed several lawsuits of patent to protect his intellectual property and what it regards as illegal competition. In December 2024, the Vsun Solar, a subsidiary of the Japanese Fuji -Zonne -Zon, in the United States, followed by actions against Longi in China, Japan and Australia at the beginning of 2025.
