The Chinese Zonne -Module -Maker Jinkosolar has presented its new Tiger Neo 3.0 sun module based on tunnel oxide Passivated Contact (Topcon) design.

The manufacturer labeled the new product as the ‘the world’s most powerful solar panel’ on the grounds of 650-670 W front-side capacity and a 85% bifacility factor that is said to be translated in 553-570 W at the back.

“The Tiger Neo 3.0 is the world’s longest working hour panel built for solar systems on utility scale, DG and roof,” said it in a statement. “It has 30 W more power than conventional topcon, also has 10-15% higher biffacility and a yield reinforcement of approximately 10% -20% than back contact panels under low light conditions, for example 200 W/m2.”

The new panel measures 2,396 mm × 1.134 mm x 30 mm And has a weight of 32.5 kg. The power conversion -efficiency varies from 24.06% and 24.80% and the temperature coefficient is -0.26%/C.

The open circuit voltage comprises from 50.26 V to 50.98 V, while the short -circuit current between 15.98 A and 16.22 A.

The operational ambient temperature varies from -40 ° C to 70 ° C, said that the manufacturer and the maximum system voltage 1,500 V. The panel has an anodized aluminum frame and 2.0 mm tempered glass with an anti -reflection coating. The connection box has an IP-68 rating.

Jinkosolar offers a 12-year product guarantee and a 30-year-old power outcome guarantee. Annual linear relegation for 30 years is indicated by 0.35%. The relegation in the first year is supposedly 1% and 30-year-old end capacity is guaranteed no less than 88.85% of the nominal output power.

*The article was changed on 5 September to indicate that the product guarantee has a duration of 12 years.
