Jordan to install solar energy at Homes of Disabled People – PV Magazine International

The Jordan government will finance a five-year program to install on grid-connected solar systems at 1,000 houses of the disabled and their families, starting in 2026.

JordanThe Ministers’ Cabinet has approved a project that will install solar systems with the houses of people with disabilities.

According to the Jordan News Agency, the five -year project will run between 2026 and 2030 and JOD will cost 1.5 million ($ 2.1 million).

It is planning to install with Grid-connected solar systems for 1,000 houses of the disabled or families, based on submitted applications.

A technical committee consisting of representatives from the Ministries of Energy, Social Development and the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities will supervise the implementing criteria.
